I am an excited little bunny and hope that the current momentum is not going to drop off.
Flower order is completed. So that's my first 3 commissions done. I am
close to completing my fourth and came home last night to a request for
2 neck cowls which was fate I think as I had only picked up a lush
pattern for cowls at work before coming home!
Have now got quite a good routine going, I get up in the morning do
house work then craft in the afternoon. After school I do the homework,
dinner and bed routine then if not working pick up my needles or hook
to chill out and get the orders and sample stock picks sorted out and
done.

Getting a boost
Today looked like being a bad one the children were being a nightmare
and I had a load of mess to clear up from whilst I was at work last
night.
Then an old school friend who also works from home came to visit me. She has purchased £17 worth of crochet flowers from me as well as placing an order for another £8 worth with the promise of more orders later as she wants to incorporate them into her head wear. To also help she will mention on her literature where the flowers are from and that I do a wide range of knits and crochet items!

Quite a relaxed day
Went to go to mums and tot's this morning but as not enough of us turned up to pay the rent we decided to give it a miss. I took small up to see my parents instead and as luck would have it my little nephew was there as well.
The children had a fantastic time playing together whilst I finished off a couple of small projects and got some serious knitting in whilst chatting to mum.

So much for a day of rest!
Well today has been quite busy considering the fact that non of us had to go to work!
I now have a family of knitted owls waiting to go in the post, 2 pairs of earrings waiting for collection and a grey knitted rose brooch also waiting for collection. I have been working on a soft toy that has been ordered as well as starting to source some beads that have been requested for more earrings.
Work has started on a lovely Red Dragon. I have an infants zipped jacket to complete as well by the end of the month. Things are taking off at a manageable rate and once some of the money starts comming in hubby can stop complaining about the time I spend crafting (I hope).
For a change of pace once the children were in bed this evening and dh was watching top gear I decided to reacquaint myself with the art of Tunisian Crochet to join some Granny Squares and make a miniature messenger bag.

The Story So Far.

For quite some time now Suzi has been suggesting that I try selling my craft items so after much thinking I decided to bite the bullet and give it a go.
This evening I have been taking pictures of my
,
crochet and handmade cards and am now in the process of loading them
all on a facebook page. Please feel free to go and have a look and
leave feedback.
I confess to feeling quite nervous about it to be honest. So fingers crossed it will take off gently and maybe mean that dh will stop moaning about the time I spend crafting.

I have had 16 people click on like already which is more than I thought would happen.

Well after a very long night with poorly small people I have had a very busy day.
It started with a visit from my lovely homestart volunteer who helped me blitz the children's bedroom it is now a tidy much more relaxing place for them to sleep. Lets just hope that between us we can keep it that way.
After lunch I made a trip up to my mothers to collect some photo's that she has taken of a host of flowers we knitted and crocheted last year. I sat and loaded them all onto my facebook page and have had an inquiry on cost of one of the items this evening. Lets hope this will result in my first sale!

Someone I went to college with has reserved one of the flower brooches and is looking to order a few more for her daughters.
A girl I went to secondary school has commissioned a soft toy from me as well.
According to the stats on my page my viral reach is slowly increasing.
Mum has just dropped off a box of earrings that we made together, another 3 little cardigans, a load of bobbles,slides,clips and hair bands for me to use as well as some cowls that the children are modeling for me. So I shall be busy with the camera later!
